Workshops to benefit Anahata
International
Anahata
International is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing yoga to
post-conflict communities to promote healing and social change. We pursue
this goal by training new teachers in their home countries and facilitating
their development of self-sustaining programs. Our organization provides
self-care and wellness programs to compliment health education and vocational
training provided by other organizations. We focus on offering trauma
sensitive yoga as a tool for individuals to reconnect to their communities
and their inner strength and equanimity. By training local instructors we aim
to empower young leaders and connect them to the cross-cultural exchange of
an expanding global yoga community.
